Among young people, there is still little attention paid to the disadvantages of gambling and the damage it can cause. For example, gambling can lead to problems such as stress, anxiety, relationship problems, financial problems and reduced school performance. Because more and more young people in the Netherlands are gambling, the Trimbos-instituut is working on a Moti-4 study focused on young people with early gambling problems.
This study tests a conversation program called Moti-4. The program consists of four conversations with specially trained counselors. During these conversations, you will gain more insight into your gambling behaviour and learn what you can do to control your gambling behaviour. The Trimbos-instituut is looking for young people between the ages of 16 and 24 who are experiencing early gambling problems. Do you recognize yourself? Or is there someone near you for whom such a conversation would be helpful or useful? Then sign up on the Trimbos website.
